Born out of the momentum of the Women’s March, we are a group of women from the Fair Lawn, NJ vicinity dedicated to social justice.
Jaymie Gerard, M.Ed is a woman of many hats! In addition to being a full time mom of 2 young kids and a wife, she is also an accomplished singer-songwriter, math tutor, and founder of Women of Action.
Amy Plotch has a sign in her office that says, “do the most good.” She is a communications consultant who loves a great turn of phrase, a proud wife and mom, and a 20+ year Fair Lawn resident.
Katie Maul is new to Fair Lawn but has quickly come to love the town. She is a full time mom, as well as a freelance graphic/web designer, video producer and filmmaker. She is passionate about the causes WOANJ supports and is excited to enact change.
Judy L Miller is the CEO of her family of 4 including 2 amazing daughters who keep her on her toes and knee deep in glitter, a patient and loving husband & a cat who keeps us all on her ‘do not disturb’ list. She is also a full time Interior Designer, working in the Aerospace Industry, teaches at a local college & is a Freelance Writer. Judy strives to work for Equality and Education for all.
Rebecca Graziano has been an active leader in the Fair Lawn Friends of Music during her son’s high school career. A writer, editor, and educator by trade, she is ready to turn her energies to social activism to protect the hard-won rights earlier generations have worked to achieve. She and her family have lived in Fair Lawn for more than 18 years.
Rachel Greenwald is an elementary school teacher, mom of two girls and two dogs, and resident of Fair Lawn for 16 years. She believes that “activism is not a spectator sport” and encourages everyone to do SOMETHING, however small, to make a difference.
